**Position**: Cyber Security Operation Center Manager

**Organization
- Function: Partner with Nexans business, industrial, IT teams and providers to design, build, deliver and maintain high quality, integrated cybersecurity solutions and services
- Country: France
- Location: Paris La Defense location, with punctual trips worldwide
- Supervisor: Group CyberSecurity Director

**Context
- Nexans has defined an organization, policies and action plans to maintain and improve the protection level of its Information System and its Industrial environment against cyberattacks like malware, intrusion from hackers, and fraud attempts
- The corporate CyberSecurity team is part of the Legal organization with the objective to manage CyberSecurity risks within Nexans Business Groups and Corporate Functions

**Purpose**
- Leading the strategy of the SOC service, taking into account the evolutions of cyber threats, of Nexans business strategy and of the underlying technologies
- Leading the cybersecurity operation organization and ensuring the detection and incident response processes are carried out efficiently
- Controlling the proper vulnerability remediation within the IT and OT teams
- Preparing the organization to support a Group-level Crisis caused by a cyber attacked

**Areas of responsibility**

**Steering**
- Develop strategy for all activities of the SOC services, from the Threat Intelligence, the security monitoring, the vulnerability management, and the crisis support
- Manage outsourced and in-house SOC services for detection quality continuous improvement and SLA performance
- Lead steering committee for SOC evolution roadmap

**Design**
- Define the SOC evolution phases, as a service offer, and as integration within Nexans landscape
- Define and update incident & vulnerability management policy, processes and tools

**Build & Maintain**
- Integration of new sources and detection rules within the SOC
- Validation of incident response process from the SOC detections with our IT support levels and IT teams

**Run**
- Manage the security operation activities, including the SOC 2.0 service outsourced
- Lead SOC run operations and liaise with IT & business stakeholders
- Assessing incident reports and incident response management
- Contribute to Crisis Management, managing the crisis support service and investigation (Threat Hunting)

**Expected results**
- Plan, direct and control the functions and operations of the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and analyze security incidents to protect company information and assets from unauthorized access, misuse, modification or destruction.
- Develop and maintain an incident response program to address all security incidents and ensure timely escalation to appropriate business units for validation/investigation.
- Monitor all intelligence sources to identify potential threats/compromises which may target the company and develop proactive strategies to minimize the impact of these threats

**Position sizing**
- Service Delivery Manager with functional report within the team and from our providers

**Required skills and qualifications
- Proficient in Incident Management and Response
- In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors and risk management
- A plus would be certifications related to CyberSecurity or Information Security (ISO 2700x/27032, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Network design
- Knowledge of ITIL disciplines
- Advanced English
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Master’s Degree in major business school or engineering school or top-class University
