Teledyne e2v Semiconductors SAS, located in Saint-Egrève (9km from Grenoble) has been a semiconductor specialist sice 1955.

Our company designs and manufactures highly reliable electronic components and systems for the aerospace, defence, medical, industrial and scientific markets.

Our site of 400 employees brings together research and development teams, production workshops and support services for 2 business units:I am Florian Julien, Marketing Director, Leader of the “Machine Vision” Business Team. I am looking for a Marketing Engineer to join my team.

MVS (Machine Vision Sensors) Business Units is a growth engine. It relies on creation and supplies of high added value offers based on CMOS Imaging Technology.

The BU is made of several Business Teams. In close relationship with sales and Technology & Development teams, BTs are responsible to drive steady and profitable growth, providing the right products, solutions, services, customized or fully standard, to customers and markets.

Each BT generate and drives its business plan. The team is made of Marketing Managers and Projects Managers in charge of creating the solutions. The BT drives market studies, leads appropriate investment toward new products & services introduction, customization of products or creation of tailor-made solutions.

Following an induction and training period, your main duties will be:
Strategic Marketing:
- Market studies and segmentation- Analysis of market and customers requirement through filed interviews- Identification of future needs of the targeted customers- Competition survey- Product portfolio management- Planification and drive of new product introduction- Contribution to technology roadmap definition- Contribution to the creation of the strategic plan, aiming at growth generation

Operational marketing:
- Follow up of New Product Introduction plan, creation of marketing collaterals- Definition and maintenance of price/value strategy- Competition analysis, positioning and trends- Creation of internal documents- Product portfolio management- Drive of sales channels from product management perspective- Identification of key strategic prospects in targeted segments

The position implies international travels and day-to-day interactions with international customers.

Education

To succeed in your mission, you must have a master degree in engineering or equivalent, completed with a marketing education or successful experience.

Competences and critical experiences

To succeed in this position, you must have:
- Analysis and reporting skills- Ease of communication- Be proficient in English (C1 minimum)- Have a knowledge and strong interest in imaging technics

Would be a significant plus:
- Strong knowledge in electronic and imaging technologies- Experience in high-tech markets- Intercultural experience
