Head of Finance

**Make your mark for patients**

We are looking for a** Head of Finance** who is collaborative, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking to join our **Corporate Development & Finance**team, based in our Paris office in France.

**About the role**

You will be working in a team that ensures full financial compliance and delivers high-quality financial operations. This includes managing accounting, reporting, tax, and financial controls at a local level, while collaborating globally to align with our procedures and strategy.

**Who you’ll work with**

You will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including global finance teams, tax and treasury experts, outsourced service providers, and local authorities. You’ll also partner with business leaders to ensure financial decisions support long-term strategic goals.

**What you’ll do**
- Lead local finance operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance.
- Supervise outsourced partners delivering accounting and tax services.
- Act as the key contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and local financial institutions.
- Deliver clear insights and guidance to business leaders, enabling informed financial decisions.
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and continually improved.
- Optimize financial processes and support implementation of new tools and systems.

**Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills**
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with a professional accounting or tax qualification.
- Solid experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in an international setting.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and local GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
