Purchasing & Quality Coordinator

At BYREDO we come as we are, with the intention to learn from each other and go beyond business objectives. **ABOUT THE JOB** We’re looking for a Leather goods Purchasing and Quality Coordinator within our Byproduct Byredo Team, for a 6 months contract replacing maternity leave. You will report to our Leather goods Collection Director and be part of Byredo Fashion team. You will oversee product and raw material sourcing, orders, quality control and aftercare. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, factories & suppliers. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** - Anticipate and process Handbags and Small Leather goods orders and material pre-buys - Coordinate shipments, invoicing and logistics between suppliers - Follow up on production orders’ deliveries with tanneries, factories and Byredo warehouses - Follow up on production orders’ quality control in factories - Analyze and manage inventory of Byredo Leather goods and other Byproducts - Run numbers in the ERP/ Navision - Monitor Aftercare / returns with markets and suggest repair solutions. **Your key interlocutors for the above missions**: **Internal**: - Byproduct team - Supply Chain team - Sales administration department - Accounting department. **External**: - Factories & suppliers - Research and Quality control consultants. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR NEXT TEAM MEMBER - You are ready to challenge the traditional ways of doing - Your interpersonal and persuasion skills, along with a solid sense of rigor, will pave the road to success in this job - You are meticulous and client oriented - Bonus points: good presentation skills, solution-oriented, persuasive, humble, pro-active, agile. **WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO BRING TO BYREDO** - You have a first experience in purchasing / supply chain and/or quality control, ideally in the Fashion luxury sector - You have strong analytical skills, including numerical analysis - You have solid skills with Microsoft Excel and data crunching in general - You have already managed an ERP (Navision or others) - You are fluent in English (Italian would be a plus). **OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU** - We will onboard you in our fantastic sensorial adventure. - You will work in a flexible and agile working environment, surrounded by great people. - We strongly encourage test & learn mindsets. - You will be able to know your impact and measure your success. **This is a fixed-term position.** **Please make sure to send your CV in English.
