Rope Access Technician

WE ARE RECRUITING A **ROPE ACCESS TECHNICIAN - LEVEL 2** TO WORK IN FRANCE ON A WIND ENERGY PROJECT

**JOB OVERVIEW**:

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Use rope access techniques to access and inspect wind turbine components, including blades, gearboxes, generators, and nacelle covers
- Conduct visual inspections and identify any defects or issues, as well as carry out maintenance and repair work as required.
- Prepare inspection reports, documenting all findings, observations, and recommendations
- Communicate inspection results to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, as well as new rope access techniques and technologies
- Maintain rope access equipment and ensure it is in good working order, including regular inspections and maintenance
- Collaborate with other inspection and maintenance teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of wind turbines.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in rope access, with a focus on wind energy components
- Level 2 certification in rope access techniques, such as IRATA or SPRAT
- Strong knowledge of rope access techniques, including equipment usage and safety procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Familiarity with wind turbine components and the wind energy industry is a plus
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
