**Marine Surveyor**
**Location: Dunkerque / North France (home-based with travel required)**

**The role**:
- Conduct surveys and assessments on ships in service, as well as on marine materials, equipment, and components.
- Produce deliverables to agreed time, budget, and quality standards.
- Present and discuss findings with clients, proposing solutions where appropriate.
- Ensure all work complies with LR procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and technologies.
- Contribute to effective knowledge transfer and support colleagues where appropriate.
- Demonstrate a proactive commitment to health and safety in all activities.
**What you bring**:
- A degree in **Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Marine Engineering**, or equivalent from a recognised institution; or relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship’s engineer officer.
- At least **1 year of relevant industry experience** (graduates with strong academic background and initial experience will be considered).
- Experience in in-service surveys, material and component inspections, or new construction.
- Knowledge of classification society processes is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is highly desirable.
- A valid European driving licence.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Dunkerque area and occasionally further afield.
