Paris 16 - Creative Activity Leader for Children

We are a network of ludo educative bilingual centres (English & French) and we are looking for creative and dynamic people to join our team

We offer a wide range of English immersion activities for children: art, dance, theatre, science etc. around a variety of themes throughout the year. We welcome your own ideas

We are currently looking for someone for one of our centres in the 16 arrondissement. The centre welcomes around 15 children from 3 to 7 years old after school and full days on Wednesdays and during school holidays.

You will not be required to work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday mornings (except certain Tuesdays and during school holidays).

Your duties will include:

- Leading fun activities in English whilst assuring the children’s safety (arts and crafts, physical expression, sport, science etc.). The materials are provided.
- Caring for the children during informal time (snack time, free time etc.)
- Handling pick-ups (accompanying children from their school to the centre)
- Supervising the children at the park
- Actively participating in team meetings
- Participating in the planning and implementation of the educational programmes

Required skills:

- Activity leader diploma (BAFA, CAP petite enfance, or equivalent)
- English speaking
- Significant experience of working with groups of children and of managing a group
- Used to leading diverse activities (arts and crafts, games, sport etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a group
- Enthusiasm, creativity, adaptability, ability to take initiative
- Patience and reliability

Desirable skills:

- First Aid certificate
- Artistic and sporty
- Experience working in education

We are looking for someone as soon as possible, therefore you must have the right to work in France.

Type d'emploi : Temps partiel

Rémunération : 12,17€ par heure
