**REGULATORY DATA LEADER**

**Primary purpose of the job**

S/he will manage the Reach Excel database the ECHA Declaration and the SCIP declaration, and will create bill of material for packaging, adding material composition and understanding component classification from national organisms.

The Regulatory Data Leader will keep regular communication with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, Quality, Finance and Sales on all regulatory aspects falling under regulatory data management, and will participate to external audits requested by national organisms in EMEA

Major responsibilities will include, among the others:

- Understand national laws, EU directives, EU regulations and norms linked to data declaration (Packaging, UK Plastic tax, Circular economy, Reach, SCIP, FSC, FLEGT, WEEE, BattG, ElektroG, Eco-Organisms-etc)
- Check and validate reports provided by Sourcing, Engineering or Third Party for all packaging components, chemical components, Reach, EEE, heavy metals-.etc
- Follow up supplier-s Reach _38_ POPs self assessments (FT313) with Sourcing team.
- Conduct random sampling check following Reach with external laboratories.
- Create, Update and Improve the Regulatory database.
- Define best practices and best process to feed the REA data into SAP, Windchill and Excel file.
- Working with external laboratories to carry out tests proving the conformity to applicable legislation.
- Being the key contact for regulatory data management for future update or any new regulation at European or national level in EMEA.
- Will manage Foodstuff data base and declaration mid term.
- **PROFILE**
- General Engineering graduation or experimented Regulatory officer.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Safety _38_ Compliance.
- Excellent understanding of norms, directives, regulations impacting consumer goods.
- Technical skills: packaging, chemistry, raw material, testing protocols, heavy metals, POPs, PAHs, Phthalates and plastics.
- Understand sustainable materials and circular economy.
- High skills of Excel files (pivot matrix), searches, sorting-etc.
- International English
- French proficient.
- Organized, rigorous, highly autonomous, tenacious, strong leadership.
- Very high communication skill.
- Able to work in international environment and matrix organizations.
- Travel: 10~30 days per year
