Installation Field Engineer Electrical

**Job Description Summary**: Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Prepare assignment before site mobilization (reviewing civil
- mechanical
- electrical interfaces, material site deliveries match with schedule, evaluate construction requirement)
- Review equipment installation / constructability & installation schedule for electrical scope.
- Review installation methods & techniques, share Lessons Learned & best practices with Subcontractor, Partner or Customer.
- Lead the Subcontractor at site and support Partner/customer
- Review man loading staff from subcontractor according progress
- Drive progress and fix the KPI to achieve the project plan
- Coordination of access to all areas with other discipline (daily & weekly)
- Establish with subcontractor work force for 6 weeks look ahead scheduled
- Lead & support the implementation of Last Planner System and ensure performance of PPC
- Lead the Civil Turn Over (CTO) handover between Civil & electrical subcontractor
- Check and follow up the Material Hand Over date, ensure proper transfer to subcontractor.
- Ensure the inventory of the material and no missing item are reported.
- Order missing or damaged material and follow up material requests.
- Manage & control Bill of Quantity (BOQ) remeasurement on TKP PI & TKSI project.
- Ensure progress according planning execution.
- Report progress/issue to Contract Manager /Site manager.
- Support Overall installation Manager on the weekly meeting.
- Be point of contact at site between Subcontractor/Client with GE Engineering Team.
- Provide technical issues resolution with GE engineering approval using GE’s reporting system tools and drive action plan at site.
- Be in charge to open Engineering request, service notice & Non conformity Report (NCR) when required with proper inputs
- Ensure technical compliance of the installation with the GE specifications, codes, local regulation, directives (ATEX..)
- Ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and adherence to the Site Quality Plan by all subcontractors.
- Follow & drive electrical test at site with the subcontractor (Generator insulation test, Transformer Hi Pot test, cables tests, instrumentation calibration
- Ensure the proper filling and hand over of all quality documentation as per contract & requirement.
- Ensure EHS rules at site, review PTW & Risk assessment
- Develop EHS Culture at site with Subcontractor, Partner or customer & participate actively in POWRA
- Ensure completion of work according Turnover package (TOP) matrix and handover to commissioning as define.
- Drive the TOP handover on time with strong planification of the work completion to avoid delay and punch list
- Support commissioning Team during cold & hot commissioning phase.
- Insure the completion of punch list

**Required Qualifications**
- Graduate Engineer in Electrical from an accredited College or University or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in power plant project around the world managing direct subcontractor.
- Knowledge in Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, HRSG, Step up transformer, AIS/GIS, cable pulling, cable connection, cable tray installation & instrumentation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of German language will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in GE product is a plus
