_**Scope of the Role**:_
- **Deliver best in class performance through professional, competitive and efficient buying processes, controls and systems for their project(s). Potentially leading and mentoring junior procurement personnel.**_
- **Main Responsibilities**:_
- Purchase equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects.
- Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and/or services required for assigned projects.
- Conduct complex bid process and do commercial evaluations.
- Create Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.
- Write Procurement Project Execution Plans.
- Identify new supplier sources and recommend new sourcing strategies in assigned area.
- Negotiate vendor alliances and associated material masters.
- Assist in proposals support when required.
- Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently.
- Expected to work with only general supervision in a complex matrix environment.
- Create internal reports.
- Conduct Site Visits to meet with project teams.
- Co-ordinate the logistics of goods and/services required for assigned projects.
- Independently consolidate and analyse information from various sources to develop effective procurement schedules.
- Produce the project budget for project requirements.
- Create procurement budget tracker.
- Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Strong negotiation skills
- Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in a similar role.
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
- Expert SAP user
Desirable Skills:
- French
- A third level qualification preferably in supply chain or other related discipline.
- Electrical/Mechanical buying experience
**Salary**: 60,000.00€ - 70,000.00€ per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Paris (75): Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
