As a technical expert, you will provide support to customers (industrial customers in the paper, metal and food industries) and contribute to the successful technical implementation of projects both in the pre-sales and execution phases.
**This position reports to**:
Project Operations Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Take charge of and process technical support requests from our customers
- Participate in testing, trials and platform acceptance
- Participate in on-site testing and commissioning.
- Participate in the definition of technical solutions for the Drives offers and support the sales department
- Ensure the technological watch in this field at ABB and on the addressed markets
**Your background**:
- At least a BTS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar technical field
- Imperative knowledge in electromechanics
- Good knowledge of variable speed drive parameterization
- Knowledge of industrial field networks that allow drives to communicate with automation systems (Profibus, Modbus_TCP, Profinet, etc.)
- Oral and written knowledge of English and French
- Valid driving license
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business
