Squad Master Insurance - Business Banking

A day in the life of the Head of Business Insurance Value Proposition
- Understand business insurance drivers as customer needs, value propositions, distribution channels, legal and competitive environments;
- Be at the core of the strategy definition for business insurance at ING by translating business ambitions to the relevant strategy and roll out an efficient execution plan;
- Develop bank-insurance future-proof value proposition and distribution strategy and implement them in the organization;
- Design, deliver and implement the roll out of new products and features towards ING customers and distribution network;
- Be responsible of aligning and driving the delivery amongst different stakeholders: your squad, tribe colleagues working on your segment processes, Business Banking colleagues, ING insurance partner for this segment;
- Take ownership, steer the strategy realisations and business results based on facts and data.

How to succeed

- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing large projects and programs in the insurance industry (e.g. delivery of product or value proposition);
- Digital native in delivering superior seamless customer experience through multi distribution channels;
- Great organizational skills and hands-on attitude to be able to manage several topics/projects and deliver concrete results in a structured way;
- Ability to both manage and steer end-to-end roadmaps as well as to deliver concrete projects from A to Z;
- Look ahead and show strategic mindset to find future opportunities to be translated into concrete strategies;
- Autonomous, driven for results, curious and entrepreneurial mindset;
- Excellent communication (written & oral) and stakeholder management skills to work with various parties and align them towards a common goal;
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.

The team

You are part of an ambitious and dynamic team focussed on revamping ING Group largest insurance franchise.

You are at the core of the design and implementation of the strategy for business insurances at ING.

You have senior leadership exposure and report hierarchically to the Head of ING Insurance Belgium and functionally to its Head of Value Proposition.

You day to day manage project resources composed of a mix of IT, marketing, product manager and customer journey experts.

You are the central point between the Insurance tribe and other tribes directly involved in the successful realization of our roadmap for business insurances: business banking, distribution, our external partner for business insurance.
