**British American Tobacco France** **has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Paris.**

The Commercial Finance Manager for Cross Categories will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy across multiple business divisions. Key responsibilities include leading central initiatives, conducting comprehensive industry and competitive analysis, and orchestrating revenue growth management programs. This role will also be responsible for crafting and delivering high-impact presentations to senior leadership, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions. Additionally, you will serve as the principal backup to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, supporting cross-functional projects and supplying critical decision-making processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- ** Strategic Analysis & Insights**: Lead in-depth industry analysis across all categories to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and key risks. Deliver actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making at the business unit level.
- ** Revenue Growth Management**: Partner with the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team and functional leaders to design and implement strategies focused on pricing optimization, promotional efficiency, and portfolio management to drive balanced revenue growth.
- ** Financial Modelling & Reporting**: Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess business performance, evaluate profitability across channels and customers, and provide detailed financial reporting to advise business decisions.
- ** Presentation & Communication**: Create and present insightful, data-driven presentations to senior leadership, translating financial analyses into clear, strategic recommendations that align with overall business objectives.
- ** Cross-Category Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with finance leads across different categories to support cross-functional projects, ensure strategic alignment, and identify alliances to optimize performance across the portfolio.
- ** Collaborator Support**: Serve as a key partner to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, providing comprehensive support across strategic planning, business reviews, and ad-hoc initiatives, ensuring continuity and alignment with organizational priorities.
- ** Travel required**: Limited travels around France and to Western Europe HQ (London, UK)

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a finance role within FMCG, retail, or a similar fast-paced industry, with a focus on strategic analysis and business partnering.
- Strong financial competence with advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work independently, handle several priorities, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Strong business knowledge and a proactive approach to learning new skills, understanding market dynamics, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English and knowledge of French is plus.
