You will need to be trained in the product specifications and machine operations with the Point-de-Claix production team to later transfer the know-how to the site of Columbus, Nebraska. You will be supporting the execution of tests, process development, validations, analyses, and start-up of the new manufacturing line at USA.
You could propose and argue for improvements targeting process reliability, product quality and waste reduction and report on residual problems and takes part in developing new solutions
**Main Responsibilities**
For the project in which you will participate:
- Participate in the development, qualification, installation and start-up of the INFCA C2 manufacturing line with the process and project teams
- Take part of the plant team at PdC interacting with the Quality-Documentation-Validation-Maintenance-Projects-Engineering-Production departments to learn and adquire all the specific knowledge that will be needed to be transferred
- Define and suggest the best technologies and methods to use
- Write specific project documents (operating procedures, technical files, drawings and schematics up to date...)
- Ensure knowledge transfer to Manufacturing and manage the training plan
- Possess and keep up to date knowledge of leading edge technologies which could be applied to our process
- Compile knowledge in documentation which is available to the other members of the WW engineering group and the manufacturing sites involved
You will work in several factories in a Worldwide project to take charge of the installation of new equipment and know-how transfer. Also participating in an R&D project Core-team as a team member or extended team member in a moderately large project.
**Who are you?**
Coming from a Technical background (Back +2/3 BTS, DUT or Licence) in General Mechanical Engineering you already have a solid experience of minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the industry, ideally in an international and matrixed environment.
You also have good knowledge of industrial mechanical & automation and you're able to manage text processing & spreadsheets as daily use in your duties. Knowledge of statistics would be a plus.
Essential Skills:
- An effective written and fluent verbal level of English
- Good stakeholder management skills with experience in dealing within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to identify and structure issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to associates
- Confidence networking and communicating with team members and build strong relationships with others in a multicultural environment
