Vie Operations Controller

We are looking for a VIE Operations Controller in Cuba In order to support its global growth, Havana Club International S.A. you will work with the Head of controlling on new products COGS definition, inventories monitoring, as well as KPIs of the whole operations’ value chain (transportation, raw material impacts, production costs). The operations controller will also be involved in strategic projects to optimize costs and operational workflows. Date : from March 2025 Your key missions: - You will be in charge of the financial follow up of HCI’s operations for Pernod Ricard and will be directly involved in key industrial projects.- Within finance team, you will have to ensure the consolidation of industrial data (costs, stock, maturing, handling costs), providing analysis and rationalizations for all Pernod Ricard budgeting and reporting processes, and preparation of main operation/finance meetings.- As such, you will work directly with the plant operation and finance executives, the maestro Ronero (master blender) and the supply chain director. Operations Controlling - P&L- Havana Club product costing (‘standard cost’): computation, explanation of key build-up assumptions.- Analyses of actual costs and computation of variances vs. budget (‘manufacturing variances’) Operations Controlling - Cash- Monitoring of maturing inventories with a focus on cash out (volumes & value - budget & real) with the support of plant director and maestro ronero- Monitoring of dry goods, bulk and finished goods inventories with the support of the supply chain team Finance stakeholders of business cases related to operations topics, to ensure value creation (new product development, cost efficiency initiatives ) Lead Operations performance KPIs reporting Lead presentations to Pernod Ricard Headquarters team (Operations performance, Standard costs, Strategic cash ) If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply- You have a master’s degree from an accredited university/school- You have a first experience as business analyst with exposure to reporting process and deadlines and have interest for the operations (industrial)- You have excellent interpersonal skill- You are proficient with all IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint, IT tools)- You are able to develop and implement support solution to facilitate reporting- You are adaptable and have multitasking skills to evolve in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities- You are able to anticipate and to respect tight deadline- You are self-motivated and have result oriented mind- You have an interest for the industrial environment and problematics. First exposure to Operations is a plus- You speak Spanish, English & French fluently Others: - This VIE position is offered for a duration of 24 months- Driver’s license mandatory (>2 years). The position will be based in the San José factory, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Havana where the VIE will be living.
