For our Site Colmar, France | Lonza we are looking for a driven and passionate Scale Up Engineer to join our dynamic team

**What you’ll do**:
Investigate innovative settings, defined by R&D, based on pilot scale trials linked to new products and/or equipment development:

- Support planning and execution of scale up trials
- Propose and adjust test set ups in order to manufacture new products in a pilot or industrial environment
- Recommend troubleshooting actions to improve safety, quality and productivity during the test phase in industrial environment
- Suggest new process parameters/equipment developments to progress against project targets using available data and gathered learning

Manage knowledge transfer
- Support defining training requirements and provision of training material including all EHS and Quality requirements for process engineers, maintenance mechanics and colleagues in utilities
- Assist the transfer and scale up of new processes and technologies to the manufacturing plants

Work practices
- Maintain accurate and timely records to appropriate quality standard for self, prepares high quality technical analyses and reports for internal use.
- Contribute and show good example of continuous improvement initiatives

**What we’re looking for**:

- Master or PhD Engineering (Mechanical or Process preferred)
- Experience in the food industry is preferred
- Proficient in English and French
- Effective communicator and collaborator, ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
