**The team you'll be part of**

Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin information and communications networks and all digital devices and systems. This research has produced nine Nobel Prizes, five Turing Awards and numerous other awards.

You will be joining the System Architecture and Solution Design (SASD) team, which is creating software architectures, design patterns and solution blueprints for Bell Labs research software and develops new architecture principles for emerging technology domains. The team is also building the software development backend for Bell Labs research. The SASD team has a global footprint with members in the US, France and Germany and collaborates closely with a diverse set of Bell Labs researchers to create world-class technology innovations, integrated solutions, and proof-of-concept systems.

**Job description**:
Your mission will be to design and prototypea ready-to-use security testing automation platform allowing developers:

- to evaluate the security of the micro-services and solutions they have created
- to have recommendations to fix security findings.

During the internship, you will have interactions with people distributed world-wide, which requires that you are able to speak English fluently, to write down the documentation in English and to perform few presentations.

General: You have a good understanding and a practical experience with networking and operating system (install, config, admin)
- Linux operating system
- Standard ports and TCP/IP protocol stack such as TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, protocols
- Advanced Python programming

Security specific: you have developed a good understanding and practical experience with at least 3 of the following areas:

- Ethical Hacking technique
- Penetration testing tools
- Security testing tools
- Vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS) and vulnerability scanning tools
- Application, network and operating system security best practices

Knowledges of docker and Kubernetes environments is a plus

- Understanding of telecom technologies
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
