Be part of our mission to disrupt the traditional healthcare model and democratize data driven medicine SOPHiA GENETICS is looking for a talented **Senior Business Innovation Associate** to join the Medical Departmentt at our Office in Bordeaux, France

The Senior Business Innovation Associate reports to the Senior Director, Business Innovation.

This role supports the development and execution of the long-term business innovation strategy of SOPHiA GENETICS, informing the priority development areas for the products and services as well as business development opportunities in the multimodal healthcare space.

In this context the role interacts closely with other Departments, such as BioPharma, Commercial, Data Sciences, Information Technology, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development to create organizational alignment on the implications of the strategy (e.g., products, data infrastructure, data access, partnerships), and takes ownership to support the execution of specific strategic projects in relation to the defined business innovation strategy, in collaboration with key internal stakeholders.

**Key Responsabilities**:

- Works closely with the Senior Director, Business Innovation to support the definition of SOPHiA GENETICS’ long-term business innovation strategy in the multi-modal healthcare data space
- Interacts closely with other Departments, such as Data Sciences, Platform/IT, Marketing, and Commercial to define the implications of the strategy (e.g., on products, data infrastructure, data access models, external partnerships)
- Supports the development of products and services aligned with SOPHiA GENETICS’ long-term innovation strategy in the multimodal space
- Takes ownership for leading specific execution projects in relation to the defined business sinnovation strategy, in close cross-functional collaboration with key internal stakeholders
- Keeps up to date with new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, standards and guidelines, data protection regulations as well as relevant disease knowledge

**Requirements**:

- Life sciences background with MSc degree, MD or PhD degree
- Minimum of 1-3 years of industry experience in pharma, biotech or life sciences management consulting
- Strong understanding of the oncology diagnostics and therapeutics field
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and new concepts
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams and develop peer-to-peer working relationships across departments
- Excellent communication skills **in English**. French is a great asset. Any other language is a nice-to-have.

**Location**: Pessac (Bordeaux area, France). Office-based, including 2 days per week remote / 3 days on-site.
