**About the job**

The Visual Design team’s mission is to create an emotional connection between our cloud technology and our clients, and we work on strengthening our brand every day Scaleway is growing fast and we need new talent to strengthen our creative team.

The Visual Design team is in charge of creating impactful assets to empower Scaleway’s brands, websites, marketing, and communications.

Reporting to the Visual Design Lead, you will be part of the designers’ team and you will have a key role in all our website-related projects.

You are a talented and creative UI designer and you want to share your experience with your team. Your main mission will be to ensure the best experience across our websites: by designing wireframes and web interfaces, by building and maintaining our web components libraries in Figma, and by contributing to our design system.

You will collaborate with many different teams across the company, especially the Marketing and Front teams who will be your partners in the Website Squad.

In addition, you will organize workshops and tests to collect user feedback and improve the overall experience. You may also be required to work sometimes on other visual assets to help your team: for events or social media for example.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 8+ years of professional experience as UI Designer / Web Designer
- Demonstrated ability to be creative with established brand guidelines
- Ability to be proactive and to propose new ideas during the briefs
- Very good command of Figma (creating components, managing libraries and a design system)
- Good knowledge of web practices and vocabulary
- Knowledge of UX and accessibility best practices
- Good level of spoken and written French and English
- Good interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Hard-working, meticulous, organized
- Experience in design system creation
- Knowledge of a design asset management tool (Zeroheight)
- Experience in, or strong affinity with, the IT industry

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and making prototypes of wireframes, components, and interfaces for the websites
- Creating and exporting assets to enrich the websites (icons, diagrams, benchmarks, illustrations, etc.)
- Managing libraries, improving, and documenting the design system, and contributing to the brand platform
- Collaborating closely with the Art Director, the Website Product Manager, and the Front-end developers
- Reviewing web pages before publication
- Organizing workshops, users tests, and interviews
- Keeping an eye on and sharing graphic design trends

**Location**

This position can be either:

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible
- Fully remote in Europe

**Salary Range**

60,000 - 76,000 EUR per year
