**PROJECT TITLE: « Scope 3 data digitalization »**
Constellium corporate sustainability team is in charge of disclosing the group CO2 emissions every year, after a third party verification. The forthcoming new directives such as CSRD or California Bills will grow the scrutiny on the data hence the need to develop reliable and verified reporting processes and tools.
The Scope 3 related CO2 emissions represent 80% of Constellium total footprint (8.8MtCO2e in 2023). These emissions are mainly related to the primary metal procured by all our sites. Current tool used to collect, review and analyze the data is excel.
The aim of the overall project is to set-up our internal reporting webapp and digitalize metal related data (quantities, category, emission factor) to calculate scope 3 emissions at various levels of the organization (site, BU, group). This project will be done in collaboration with the corporate procurement team, based in Zürich.
The project will be split into several steps:
- Pre-study
- Deployment of the tool and process in CSTM
- Use for the first reporting in year 2026
The role of the intern will consist, after a first phase of training in our trades and tools, in leading the pre-study work.
The pre-study will cover the following aspects: benchmark with similar companies on scope 3 reporting tools, requirements definition (input data, output data, temporal and local granularity ), set-up of the webapp existing tool to take-in Constellium data, test of the set up on one year of data, define future data collection process in Constellium.
The intern will report to the Senior Decarbonization Project Manager. Regular reporting to the project Steering Committee will insure good progress of the project. Interactions with several teams within Constellium as well as with the software vendor will be necessary.

- Data science, IT
- Full mastering of excel and Power BI.
- Interest in sustainability and Carbon accountability.
- Soft skills: Excellent interaction and communication skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Fluent in French
