Cdi - Senior Logistics Manager (H/F)

**Job Description Summary**: Manage GRID and BL’s transportation and logistics tools, processes maintenance and improvement. Impacts the business and functional team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. There is clear autonomy within the role with a strong need to engage with peers and stakeholders. Strong knowledge and hands-on work-experience on GE tools and processes is required to achieve desired outcomes, including ability to develop, implement and drive functional processes and tools.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES | **DEDICATED FOCUS**:
Freight Audit Process | FAP:

- Lead implementation at new GRID units and ensure GRID supplier onboarding process is compliant with INTERLOG
- Lead, coordinate and ensure suppliers are submitting invoices as per business/process requirements and GRID unit teams are timely receiving and actioning on supplier’s invoices as per process.
- Maintain and ensure that accounting matching files are correct for invoice booking to project WBS and GL accounts
- Regularly review backlog of unapproved invoices with GRID sites and perform root-cause-analysis for process improvement and fix the issues with an appropriate solution.
- Maintain and communicate bowler, performance indicator and actions with GRID units, to measure process performance cycle efficiency, pay on time and overall data quality gaps, and lead/drive corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate SOW’s/scope definition as per business requirements and split the cost by unit based on volume

Oracle Transportation Management | OTM:

- Lead and drive Implementation at new units as per GE design, integration with SAP and MOS and ensure qualified suppliers are onboarding per GRID sourcing process and periodically organize buyers and routers refresher training.
- Lead and ensure timely shipments booking to achieve **(a)** OTD **(b)** cargo consolidation for space optimization, and **(c)** escalations with LSPs to ensure business fulfillment.
- Maintain data accuracy and maintain OTM performance data by unit-wise LSP’s and lead/drive regular pacing and improvement actions with units.
- Measure and ensure effective utilization and productivity of Allyn Int’l routers capacity “considering shipments volume” and maintain service POs by product line.
- Lead OTM maintenance, upgrades, development and ensure the alignment with GRID procurement processes and ERPs without compromising on simplification and business fulfillment objectives.

GRID | Transport and Logistics | FINANCIALS:

- Maintain overall GRID | Transport and Logistics cost performance, YOY bowler for Inflation, deflation and transportation as % of sales and report to BL leaders on monthly basis.
- Maintain, track and report outbound and projects transportation spend v/s as sold budget and investigate/record root-caused the project-margin deviation v/s budget (if any) and report to BL leaders on monthly basis.
- Maintain GRID Transportation DTP bowler on actual pay days at BL-level and report to BL leaders on monthly basis.
- Maintain GRID PO data per INCOTERM at BL-level and report to BL leaders on monthly basis.

- Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal/external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
- May lead functional-projects with mínimal resource requirements and able to communicate difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.

Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics & transport at senior managerial role.
