**Sales assistant's function**:

- Carry out the commercial and administrative processing of customer requests with the aim of commercial excellence and customer satisfaction (service, cost, deadline, etc.)
- Maintaining relations with customers, informing them about the company's products and services
- Possibly prospecting, seeking new customers and selling products and services.

**Main tasks**:

- Receive customer requests, carry out an initial filter, submit them to the departments concerned
- Carry out the commercial study, have the technical study carried out (if necessary, contact the departments concerned) in order to draw up the offer
- Draw up the offers, submit them for validation before communication to the client
- Check the client's financial data (solvency, financial outstanding, late payment....)
- Transmit the offer to the customer (if necessary, follow up to obtain orders) and register the orders
- Verify proper execution of the order (if necessary open and administer a dispute)
- Follow up customer payments (invoicing, settlements, coverage, risk...) inform relevant departments or actors
- Follow the customer in all stages of the sale, propose solutions in case of dysfunctions
- Participate in department meetings and group work

**Specific tasks**:

- Work closely with Sales Managers and partner departments
- Participate occasionally in customer visits
- Fill in the indicators for monitoring sales activity
- Compare achievements against the budget, determine deviations from the target, propose adjustment paths
- Promote and sell existing products and services
- Help promote a good image of the company and its assets
- Organise the inspection of products by the auditor (commission the service)
- Evaluate and manage stocks of standard and/or specific products with a view to their optimisation
- Comply with instructions, rules and procedures
- Maintain the workstation in an orderly and clean manner

- French, English & German communication oral and in writing
- Office automation (Word, Excel, Auréus, SAP, ADA, BO, BI...)
- INCOTERMS
- Writing skills
- Basic knowledge of settlement management

- Basic technical knowledge (products, services, supply chain organisation, etc.)
- Translation and transcription of the customer's needs
