For our Building & Territories - North Europe Business Unit, we are looking for a Site Purchasing Leader for our 2 sites : Autun & La Verpillère ** **Job Purpose**: - The Site Purchasing Leader will oversee the following activities on the sites for which he/she is responsible: - Responsible for Local Site Purchasing and Local Vendor Management: the total expenditure of 1 to 250 000€/Year: reassessment of needs, launch of RFI, RFQ contract designs, implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement plan. - Is the level 1 escalation of PSS operations for the site (s) for which it is responsible € 250,000, it is responsible for the Purchasing performance and the implementation of Procurement strategies, contracts and / or agreements negotiated by the Central Purchasing. Works and returns requirements to non-production, Capex and Raw material all purchases over 250 000€ - Is a guarantor and reports to the Plant Director of the site on the performance and all the activities Purchasing related to the site. - Is Guarantor of the respect and the implementation of Nexans Processes and Standard Purchasing Guarantor of the implementation of transversal Group Purchasing initiatives on his/her perimeter **Areas of responsibilities**: - Challenges the expression of the needs (recasting of the cost, functional analysis, standardization...) - Consolidate needs at the appropriate level (global, local) - Supports the definition of a functional specification (decision matrix for information request / quote, etc.) - Defines the panel of suppliers for consultation - Leads (for his scope 1 to 250 000€) negotiations to select the best supplier (based on cost breakdown, total cost of ownership and risk elements) - Manages contracts and their follow-up (customization, deployment, performance evaluation) - Support implementation of Central contracts (> 250 000 €) - Contributes to the mitigation of claims and support Supply Chain escalations - Report Monthly dashboard to monitor expenses, unit cost, volume by entity, savings tracking.. **Skills and qualifications required**: - Speaks French & English fluently - 2-3 years' experience in the purchasing field - Quick react and support to the local business - Assumes responsibility for actions, projects for which he is responsible - Takes initiative, acts with confidence - Initiates Purchasing actions at local level - Work with people: - Demonstrates interest and understanding of others - Adapts to the BU purchasing team of which he is a part and strengthens the team spirit - Recognizes the contribution of others - Listens, consults with others and communicates proactively - Supports and take cares of others - Entrepreneurial thinking and performance: - Keeps abreast of vendor information and market trends - Identifies business opportunities for the organization - Demonstrate a financial conscience - Sets high standards for quality and quantity - Analytical mind: - Analyzes digital data, verbal data and all other sources of information. - Divides information into components, models and relationships - Seeks additional information or a better understanding of a problem - Produces practical solutions to a range of problems - Understands how a problem can be part of a much larger system. - At Nexans, we recognize the differences that make each employee valuable and unique.
