This role sits within the Global Communications & Digital Marketing team and will report directly to the Head of the department.
The Global Communications & Digital Marketing Manager will own and lead the marketing communication strategy, including Digital Marketing, to support the Food Safety & Quality business unit of the Industrial Microbiology Business Unit.
Key relationships will be with Industrial Microbiology Communications teams globally, and the Food Safety & Quality business team (marketing associates) in all regions and countries, Corporate Communications and Digital Transformation teams.
The position will be based in Craponne, Lyon.
**What will be your responsibilities?**
- Marketing Communications_:
- Conceive and deliver multi-annual communication plans for the Food Safety & Quality business and its associated segments and solutions, including print and web activities (social medias, SEA/SEO, etc.), seminar, specialized medias, showroom, etc.
- Recommend editorial, media and tools strategy
- In close collaboration with the Global Food Safety & Quality marketing team, actively develop business-specific messages
- Create engaging content, and ensure content published is compliant with corporate branding and unit graphic design and messaging guidelines
- In coordination with the scientific content director, oversee content
- Make the link with the regional communications teams to relay the campaigns for regional and/or local adaptation
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Transformation team, regional communications teams, and cross-functional teams to implement a digital strategy to reach prospects and customers along their customer journey, to positively impact business performance, and enhance online presence and reputation.
- Measure, analyze and report on the performance of the key campaigns
- Operate within relevant budgets
- Manage and coordinate agencies, write meaningful and engaging briefs
- Corporate & Internal Communications_:
- Contribute to the elaboration of corporate communication strategy around the Food Safety & Quality business
- Engage Industrial Microbiology employees through internal communications (internal website, etc )
- Support key internal forums (Touch points, forum, etc )
- Digital Transformation_:
- Enable the digital transformation of bioMérieux for the Food Safety & Quality business
**Who are you ?**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing Communications within an agency and/or industry environment, including Digital Marketing.
- Experience in Omni-channel/ multi-Channel approach
- Proven experience in inbound marketing, covering creating, executing, and reporting on integrated campaigns, using tactics that include content marketing, social media communications and management (mainly LinkedIn), webinars, website content, SEO and SEA, white papers.

- Customer-centricity believer
- Strong appetite for and skills in Digital. Experience of using Adobe Analytics, a CRM tool and a marketing automation tool will be highly regarded.
- Experienced to define and work against KPI’s
- Relevant commercial and/or B2B marketing experience, ideally in life sciences or healthcare industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (native). Proficiency in French would be highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Displays energy and enthusiasm. Uses own initiative. Flexible and pragmatic.
- Strong project management methodology, effective decision-making & prioritization
- Occasional travel, domestically and internationally
- Experience working in a matrix organization and multicultural organizations would be advantageous

**Main accountabilities for this position**:
- Support the Food Safety & Quality strategy and tactics, and align with global and regional marketing priorities
- Establishment of multiple integrated communications and digital marketing campaigns through media, tools and editorial strategy and delivery on spec, on time, and on cost
