**"Assessing the impact of the Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (EHDV-8) circulation on the production and reproductive performances of French cattle farms"** The INRAE-ENVT Mixed Research Unit "Host-Pathogen Interactions" (IHAP) is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and talented post-doctoral fellow or research engineer to work on modeling epidemiological and production data. Experienced in handling and analyzing voluminous data, you will be in charge of modeling production and reproduction performances of over 1,000 dairy and beef cattle farms in relation to their dynamic status regarding EHDV-8. The goal is to assess the impact of this virus on various productivity criteria. This topic is currently a major concern for French farmers and, more broadly, in Europe. Through this work, you will also contribute to informing the animal health management policies of the French Ministry of Agriculture. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in other animal health-related projects. You will join the INRAE-ENVT IHAP research unit on the National Veterinary School of Toulouse campus, within the EPIDESA team, with over 15 researchers, teachers, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and research engineers working in the field of epidemiology and decision-making in animal health. **Practical Information** - Duration: 18 months - Salary: €2,200 to €3,600 gross per month, depending on experience and training - Start date: As early as September 1st and no later than November 1st, 2025 - Application deadline: June 15, 2025 **How to Apply** **Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary Contract length: 18 months Pay: 2,200.00€ - 3,600.00€ per month Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 15/06/2025 Expected Start Date: 01/09/2025
