**Technology Sales Representative France and Emerging Markets (North Africa) M/W**
Reporting into the Global Technology Sales Leader, you will play a vital role in developing the France + Emerging Markets (North Africa) business in your allocated markets. You will nurture key relationships to help build STG Portfolio's presence across the France + Emerging Markets (North Africa) insurance market and be responsible for the creation of sales strategies, tactics and action plans. The role will be customer facing, managing customer relationships, supporting commercial and contractual negotiations as part of any bid process. There will be great emphasis on addressing the end-to-end modelling challenges faced by insurers, helping clients re-engineer existing modelling estates to meet their modelling needs.

**What the day will look like**
The core objective of the role is to sell high quality insurance solutions using our proprietary software, in the Life and P&C Insurance market. To deliver on this objective you will:
- Use a thorough understanding of your target market to understand market and client issues
- Develop a strong understanding of individual customer needs and create proposals for how Aon can best address their requirements
- Be fully versed on Tyche, Remetrica and Pathwise capabilities and able to talk knowledgably about our proposition to promote opportunities
- Capitalise on opportunities to sell including upselling to the best solution to meet the client’s needs, taking into account their spending plan
- Work with the Global Technology Sales Leader to develop the sales strategy and deliver pitches / respond to RFPs for your allocated markets for Life and P&C Insurance product sales.
- Collaborate with the wider AON United Team across the World.
- Operate independently (and in collaboration with other Aon colleagues) and manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification through to close
- Reduce the sales cycle as much as possible
- Utilize your network and industry contacts within the region to capitalise on sales opportunities
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of key metrics to business leaders
- Ensure pricing is appropriate, considers profitability of the contract and is agreed with the appropriate parties in Aon
- Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings to perform demonstrations; to participate in roadshows, conferences and other similar marketing events.
- Grant client retention and solutions up-selling.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- A proven track record of successfully growing revenues selling software - in financial services - and ideally to insurance companies in the France + Emerging Markets (North Africa) market
- A reasonable understanding of the requirements and issues facing Life and P&C Insurers from a software perspective
- A strong reputation in the market and the gravitas to deal with negotiations at executive level
- The ability to produce high quality material presentations and present these to clients
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to present a potential project to a client
- Significant experience leading complex major bids or proposals and strong deal closing skills
- Well-developed collaboration and influencing skills with experience of working with teams of consultants and modellers
- The commercial agility to develop and implement strategic goals and growth plans for the XXX (territory) business

- The enthusiasm to meet clients across France + Emerging Markets (North Africa) to deliver against your revenue targets
