We are seeking a** Middle DevOps Engineer**to join a vibrant international **Cupid Media**team

**Cupid Media**is an online dating company that operates 33 active niche dating websites based on religion, ethnicity, lifestyle and special interests. The network of sites are available in multiple languages and since its founding in 2000, over 60 million singles have registered across the company's sites. Cupid Media is based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

**Your main tasks will be**:

- Support and develop hybrid infrastructure (AWS + private cloud)
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform (AWS) and Ansible (on-prem)
- microservices architecture in Kubernetes (EKS)
- Develop and maintain monitoring (Prometheus + Thanos), logging (Loki), and visualization (Grafana) solutions
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes
- Collaborate with development teams to meet their infrastructure and pipeline needs
- Administer and configure services such as nginx, Redis, RabbitMQ, RDS (MSSQL), ECR, Route53, CloudFront

**We expect from you**:

- Solid experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, VPC, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, ECR, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, configuration, maintenance)
- Strong Linux administration skills: confident in command-line usage, Bash scripting, system and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS), and core sysadmin tasks (services, users, permissions, troubleshooting).
- Strong experience with Ansible in production environments
- Working experience with Terraform
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions (including matrix builds, multi-step workflows, conditionals)
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
- Experience with Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, and Grafana
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
- Proficiency with nginx as a load balancer and ingress controller
- Good communication and collaboration with development teams
- English level - B2 or higher
