Deployment Engineer Emea

**Description**:
As a **Deployment Engineer** at ScorePlay, you’ll be at the intersection of technology and customer success, playing a pivotal role in how sports organizations experience our platform. You’ll join our growing Customer Success team as the technical lead for deploying, integrating, and implementing our Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions at client organizations. Your impact will be visible from day one: you’ll help world-class sports teams unlock value from their media, data, and workflows.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role for an engineer who thrives on variety, collaboration, and delivering tangible results. You’ll work directly with customers and our internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, solve technical challenges, and drive adoption of our platform. You’ll help shape how we deliver technical value at scale as our first Deployment Engineer.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Solution Deployment & Integration**
- Own the end-to-end technical deployment of ScorePlay solutions for new and existing customers, from kickoff through go-live and beyond
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Tech, and Product teams to understand customer needs and design effective implementation plans
- Configure, integrate, and customize ScorePlay’s platform to fit client workflows—whether that means working with APIs, SSO, cloud storage, or broadcast partners
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during onboarding and implementation, acting as the technical point of contact for the customer
- Collaborate with engineering on complex integration projects or when custom solutions are required

**Customer Collaboration & Enablement**
- Build trusted relationships with client technical teams, providing guidance and support throughout their ScorePlay journey
- Document and share best practices for onboarding and integration, helping to develop tools and processes that improve the customer experience
- Run customer-facing technical workshops and training sessions, empowering end users and admins to get the most out of the platform
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to Product and Tech teams to help inform roadmap and improve our offering

**Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement**
- Help shape the playbook for future deployments, laying the groundwork for a scalable, repeatable technical onboarding process
- Work closely with Customer Success, Tech, and Product to continuously improve our deployment process, documentation, and tools
- Take initiative to identify and solve bottlenecks in implementation, always looking to make things more efficient for both clients and the ScorePlay team

**Key Requirements**:

- 5+ years in a technical role (e.g., solutions engineer, implementation engineer, software engineer, or similar), ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment
- Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise implementations, technical onboarding, or integrations for external clients
- Strong technical skills—comfortable with APIs, scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar), cloud platforms, and basic networking concepts
- Experience working directly with customers or end-users to solve technical problems and deliver solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organized and proactive, with a knack for juggling multiple projects and priorities
- Proven ability to work independently, drive projects end-to-end, and lay the foundations for scalable processes in a fast-growing environment
- Bonus:

- Experience with sports or media
- Familiarity with authentication (SSO/OAuth), cloud storage (AWS, GCP, Azure), or video workflows
- Previous experience in a customer-facing deployment, solutions consulting, or technical onboarding role in a start-up or high-growth company
