Citi seeks an entry level Dispersion Trader for its EMEA Equities desk in Paris. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of equity products, driving revenue growth and expanding Citi's well-established franchise and distribution footprint. You will be responsible for trading dispersion, collaborating closely with the single stocks flow desk, and optimizing hedging strategies to maximize returns. This position requires a track record of successful dispersion trading within a bank or hedge fund environment.
Beyond trading, you will contribute to the evolution of our trading strategies and platforms. This includes leading projects to incorporate new instruments and dynamic procedure and working with Technology and Quantitative Analytics teams to enhance our technological edge. **What You'll Do**:
- ** Own the Market**: Work to take full trading responsibility for the EMEA dispersion book, utilizing your product knowledge and market insights to capitalize on opportunities and drive profitability.
- ** Client Partnership & Franchise Growth**: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, providing tailored trade ideas and solutions to solidify Citi's position as a trusted partner. Expand our already extensive distribution footprint and identify new revenue streams.
- ** Strategic Hedging & Revenue Optimization**: Implement sophisticated hedging strategies to maximize returns and exceed budget targets, demonstrating your ability to manage risk effectively and deliver exceptional results.
- ** P&L Ownership**: Take full accountability for daily P&L, ensuring accurate reporting and comprehensive risk capture. Your precision and attention to detail are critical to our success.
- ** Technological Innovation**: Collaborate with Technology and Quantitative Analytics teams to drive innovation and optimize our trading platforms. Lead projects to integrate new instruments and dynamic procedures, shaping the cutting edge of our trading capabilities.
- ** Data-Driven Performance**: Leverage existing and contribute to the development of advanced trading dashboards to enhance risk management, uncover hidden alpha opportunities, and maximize revenue generation.
- ** Collaboration & Control**: Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to maintain a robust control environment and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
**What We're Looking For**:
- ** Proven Dispersion Trading Expertise**: Demonstrated success in managing a dispersion trading book, with a consistent record of profitability and growth.
- ** Equity Options Valuation Prowess**: Solid experience in pricing equity options, coupled with a strong grasp of company valuations, macroeconomic factors, and their influence on market dynamics.
- ** Collaborative Partnership Builder**: A history of successful collaboration with Sales, Research, and other stakeholders to enhance market liquidity and drive franchise growth through client flow monetization.
- ** Exceptional Communication Skills**: Clear, concise, and compelling communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
