**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to**:
We are looking for talented computer scientists/software engineers to support the development of a suite of Qt5-based GUI tools at Silvaco. This software is crucial in the design and analysis of state-of-the-art semiconductor devices by companies and academic institutions worldwide.

You will be part of a fast-moving multidisciplinary team, collaborating with experts in computer science, applied mathematics, physics, and electronics. You will have the opportunity to be instrumental in the design, implementation and maintenance of innovative software tools while being supported in your career development.

**R**EQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in object-oriented C++ development
- Qt5 framework, including advanced UI, Models and Views, Data Visualization, Network and asynchronous tasks
- Complexes data model handling, algorithm and plots.
- Application life cycle: version control, build process, bug tracking and release.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including fluency in English
- Cross-platform development on Linux (main) and Windows
- Experience of scripting languages, such as Python, Perl and JavaScript
- Development for distributed computing environments

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in semiconductor industry preferred.
- Experience in international and remote team building preferred.

All Silvaco salary ranges are determined by role, level and geographic location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training and additional role-related considerations. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of total compensation package, in addition to full range of medical, financial and other benefits.
