Reporting to the Head of Engineering/Water Treatment Department, **you will bring your expertise in innovation and processes related to water professions **(treatment, analysis, etc.), **providing technical support and assistance **to all our plants**worldwide **(travel +/- 20%, mostly in Europe).
As a key player in our water sector, according to the current standards and good hygienic design practices, you will:
- Analyze and formalize the specification of needs (writing functional specifications)
- Draft detailed preliminary projects based on the chosen solution and provide cost estimates
- Validate or perform calculations, simulations, and designs (working with suppliers' unit operation simulation software, e.g., for reverse osmosis, and PHREEQC or equivalent for water chemical equilibrium models)
- Participate in studies and size water treatment systems (in project and/or implementation phases)
- Select suppliers and subcontractors, supporting our procurement department in strategic projects and new supplier evaluations
- Plan, manage, and coordinate various stakeholders to implement chosen solutions: consultation, write specifications, study, realization and construction planning, purchase requests, equipment reception, etc.
- Ensure the successful realization of new installations, respecting approved specifications, deadlines, costs, and quality of services and deliverables, while validating expected performances
- Prepare technical reports (studies, audits, hydraulic dimensioning, plans, PID, nomenclature)
- Propose innovation, renovation, and optimization programs for existing production lines and equipment in collaboration with our Expertise Center and plant teams, aiming to improve product quality, productivity, environmental impact, and cost reduction
- Conduct pre-acceptance at our suppliers and necessary inspections, support validation tests, start-up, ramp-up of new installations, and provide technical documentation
- Maintain an active technical watch (suppliers, competitors, university laboratories) on innovations in water treatment, packaging, bottling lines, analysis, etc.
- Ensure safety and compliance of innovations and existing equipment in accordance with regulations and standards, and conduct audits
- Ensure the protection of newly developed technologies
- Relay information between internal and external stakeholders of projects and maintain open and clear communication
- Participate in the development of technical skills within different teams by providing training and support
- Manage your budgets: construction, justification, requests, monitoring, and reporting.
You hold a higher education degree (Master's degree in water professions, process engineering, etc.) and have a minimum of 8 years' experience in water treatment in a similar position. Fluency in English is required.
With excellent interpersonal and writing skills, you can effectively work with cross-functional and multicultural teams. As a proactive and well-organized individual, you can handle complex assignments. You should also be willing to travel.
