Role Overview The Junior Electronics / Equipment (E/E) Diagnostics Technician is an integral part of our Service team, responsible for providing first-class troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair for our electric vehicles. This position requires a high-quality Education with a solid background and hands-on experience in electric vehicle E/E, diagnostics, programming/coding and repair. Join us on our exciting journey with the Fisker Ocean This position is based in Paris, France **Responsibilities**: - Performs vehicle diagnostics, "Fix IT Right the First Time" repairs, and manual and over-the-air software updates, programming/coding ECU’s, at a Fisker workshop and/or Port of Entry.- Avoid repeat repairs and repurchase cases by understanding customer complaints and following proper service procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction.- Assist in the preparation and validation of detailed diagnostic and repair manuals, service bulletins, technical and parts information, customer service and owner communications, etc.- Immediately identify and report complex electronic/software problems encountered in the field.- Assist Mobile and Master Technicians in low service capacity situations to ensure optimal customer service and quick repair times- Assist in root cause analysis, identification of new trends, troubleshooting and preparation of appropriate reports.- ECU troubleshooting, CAN/LIN/i/Body Bus, LVDS, etc. Basic qualifications / knowledge / experience- Apprenticeship completed or completed higher technical education as a Mechatronic, Electronic, Electric (HTL, Fachschule, BOS, FH)- Deep interest and understanding in the above-mentioned area of responsibility.- Certification to work on high-voltage systems is an advantage- Experience with battery electric vehicles and good knowledge in handling diagnostic equipment, programming/coding/flashing ECU’s is an advantage- Knowledge of ECU troubleshooting, CAN/LIN/i/Body Bus, LVDS, etc. is an advantage- - Driver License (B) necessary Additional Requirements- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency- Efficient in managing multiple priorities, organising workload and meeting deadlines- Punctual and reliable- Excellent work ethic and willingness to cooperate- Willingness to learn innovative EV technologies- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and company objectives- Ability to educate other colleagues on technical topics Preferred skills/experience/competencies.- Drive for results: strive for high performance, take responsibility and work towards planning goals, overcome obstacles, setbacks and uncertainties.- Business acumen: Contributing to business strategy and aligning the strategic priorities of one's unit with the direction and strategic priorities of the whole organization- Customer centricity: anticipates evolving customer needs and knows how to meet them by doing the right thing in the right way- Decision-making: Makes timely, informed decisions, taking into account facts, objectives, constraints and risks- Analytical thinking: gathers relevant information, identifies key issues, compares data from different sources; draws appropriate conclusions to arrive at appropriate solutions- Teamwork and collaboration: Facilitates collaboration by actively engaging to make joint decisions and share best practices- Demonstrates a global perspective: Provides an understanding of the company's global market position, opportunities, capabilities and competitive threats, and takes into account cultural and geographical differences in planning and decision-making LI-Onsite
