Territory Manager France

**Job Description**:

- Primary Purpose_
- Provide strong commercial business insight to sustain and improve dealer’s sales, revenue and profit development.
- To increase sales coverage, participation and closure of the distributors in territory, pursue new dealer opportunities to improve the current area coverage or coverage quality. Collaborate with the Dealer Business Development team to enhance country/territory performance.
- Achieve agreed market share, volume, discount and unit (CB, WH & BT if applicable) sales profitability targets within a defined territory, through the development and implementation of the dealer annual business plan.
- For assigned dealers, be the main point of contact for all commercial questions regarding unit sales.
- Provide a high level of professional sales skills and product knowledge within the dealership by providing coaching of the dealer’s sales force and drawing on the key departments of HYG.
- Support National and Pan European Major Account sales in the territory to drive sales performance in territory.
- Key Accountabilities_
- Lead assigned dealerships in achieving agreed unit sales targets
- Development and implementation of a dealer development plan through the DABP process for short and long term strengthening of the brand and dealer capability
- Development and implementation of the actions defined in the Dealer Excellence Programme and (if applicable) 3 to 5 year strategy paper
- Prospect and assign new dealers on uncovered areas (as appropriate)
- Provide training on products and sales management to support the development and performance of the dealer sales organization (as appropriate in the absence of territory trainers)
- Drive and support sales activities of dealers including visits of key dealer customers and being involved with major deals
- Have current visibility on Market Price and of dealer calculations
- Provide pricing proposals to ABD and (if applicable) pricing department to ensure successful deal closure
- Feedback market price information to pricing department to support strategic pricing analysis
- Knowledge and Skills Required_
- Degree education level or equivalent
- Ability to build effective business relationships and be a credible business advisor to senior dealer management
- Cultural sensitivity and understanding of behaviors and in the assigned territory
- Flexible, resilient and able to work effectively in a cultural diverse team
- Professional sales and solution selling, management, negotiating and communication skills. Understanding of International trade. Strong analytical skills, financial awareness, understanding of business models, P&Ls and cost analysis
- Engaging presentation skills
- Business English Preferred
