Innovation Project Leader - Animal Life Sciences
Hybrid Working - L'Aigle
**Scope**
We have a fantastic opportunity to join an international leader in animal life science and imaging systems. Since its creation, our client have experienced sustained growth and high profitability, expanding their portfolio of activities and services with a strong growth ambition. With sites in both the UK and France, they are looking for a high calibre Innovation Project Leader responsible for managing key innovation projects covering areas from cell biology to complex diagnostic instrumentation development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and facilitate the execution of Innovation projects, working closely with the Vice-President Innovation Science and Technology and the Species Management Leads
- Lead the development of budget, master timelines, plans and secure asset needs for innovation projects.
- Partner with marketing teams to develop clear creative project briefs
- Work with marketing and business partners to develop creative briefs which bring strategies and concepts to life
- Design the development strategy for each of the Innovation project
- Collect customer feedback, competitors and market information and provide updates to the senior management team.
- Negotiate and manage contracts both in the fields of Science and Marketing to ensure a rapid development of the products.
**About You**:
- Ph.D., VetMed or related degree with MBA or equivalent.
- Considerable experience with complex project management in a relevant industry
- Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following animal productions: bovine, swine or fish farming (possibly equine or poultry) would be highly desirable
- Fluent in English is a must
