OPUS Aerospace designs, manufactures and operates launchers and spacecraft in order to accelerate space exploration. With STERNE, it wishes to offer access to space for small satellites.

At the end of 2020, the company was already able to successfully fire its first liquid propellant rocket engine. Now, it is developing its first suborbital demonstrator.

To accelerate our development, we are recruiting an **Electro-Mechanical Technician** to participate in the development of our suborbital demonstrator. Your missions will consist of:

- Participate in test setups (mechanical and fluidic assemblies, wiring of electronics and measurement systems),
- Manufacture and assemble metal or composite structures for our engine test bench and our flight demonstrator,
- Perform machining operations with conventional machine tools or 3D printers,
- Design and realize technical drawings
- Meet deadlines given by the Team Leader
- Write and update the associated technical documentation (on test methodologies or setups) and on the rocket or sub-system assemblies.

**Qualifcations & Skills**

Graduate of an BTEC Higher National Diploma (French BTS or DUT) or a Mechanical or Propulsion Bachelor degree (French Licence), with a successful experience in the aerospace, aeronautical or automotive sector would be appreciated. You are recognized for the following qualities and/or skills:

- Solid knowledge of mechanical and fluidic assemblies,
- Experience in using CAD tools to design and assemble parts (CATIA, Fusion 360 ),
- Experience in normative technical drawings,
- Experience in experimental measurements systems,
- Dynamic, flexible, organized, rigorous, autonomous and proactive,
- Your English level allows you to understand and write technical documentations but also follows and participates in technical conversations.

**Additional informations**
- Position based in Bretigny-sur-Orge (91160). Travel in France or abroad is to be expected.
- Type of contract : Permanent
