**Job description**
We are looking for an engineer to be a part of the Field Application Team.
The main role is to work with our customers to deliver a complete solution to fulfil their needs. If you are an enthusiastic, motivated engineer and can connect with Engineering, Sales/Account Teams, and Customers - You belong with us
The Field Application Engineers (FAE) work in a project-oriented environment to deliver technical solutions to our customers and to help them to integrate our IP into their SOC.
They interact with the customers to assess their methodologies and flows, gather requirements and propose solutions.
The FAE provide technical support to ensure customer success and satisfaction. They win new customers through product presentation, demonstrations, evaluations, and comparative benchmarking. They train the customers and support them through technical problem resolution.
The FAE also work with the R&D team. They participate to the product testing and debugging - as well as in the development of new solutions to ease our IP integration within customer SOC flow.
The FAE also work closely with the sales team during the pre-sales process.
**Desired skills and experience**
- Master Degree (or “Diplôme d’Ingénieur ») in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
- 5 years of experience in Hardware or FPGA design
- 3 years of experience in RTL coding in VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog experiences
- SoC implementation including a good understanding of EDA flow
- SoC architecture knowledge is a plus
- FPGA tools knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Good written and spoken English is mandatory
- Ability to travel extensively across Europe
