The ESC is currently looking for a **Publications coordinator**for a permanent contract, CDI, as soon as possible to work at its headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France.
**Major duties and responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, improving workflows, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
In details:
- **Ensure compliance with content reuse and intellectual property (IP) standards**
Coordinate internally to ensure all content reuse requests comply with established standards.
Collaborate with the Legal department on contracts, permissions, rights, and IP matters.
Track requests, deadlines, and deliverables, provide regular reporting, and act as the main contact for content reuse and permissions-related issues.
- **Optimise internal workflows and enhance team efficiency**
Map and analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions.
Continuously update and develop Publications Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Implement and monitor new processes to drive continuous improvement.
- **Provide reliable data and insights to support decision-making**
Collect and compile publications-related data and statistics for N+1 and N+2 reporting.
Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Foster collaboration and support cross-functional projects**
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of cross-functional projects.
Support the Publications team, volunteers, and committee members.
Oversee supplier activities to ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
**Profile**:
- Hard skills:_
- Master’s degree (Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Marketing, or Communications).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management.
- Proven experience in process improvement, workflow optimisation, data collection and reporting, and coordinating cross-functional projects with both internal and external partners.
- Experience in publishing and/or rights/IP management is an asset, or a strong motivation to develop in this area.
- Strong knowledge of rights management and compliance.
- Proven ability to map, optimize, and document workflows.
- Detail-oriented approach to compiling and presenting statistics and data.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.
- Strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
