Within the Product Development team, the **Project Manager - Product Operations **plays a key role in creating the framework and coordinating the activities of the Product department for GrandVision retail brands, Essilor Online private labels and any other banners / brands belonging to the mainstream frames scope. He/She will operate in 3 main areas:

- **PRODUCT PLANNING**:

- **PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORTING THE INTEGRATION JOURNEY**:

- **PROCESS MAPPING, MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT**

**1. PRODUCT PLANNING**:

- Develop hand in hand with the PPC team (based in Italy) the **New Product Introduction (NPI) calendar** for the product team's scope following 2 main releases per year for 3 retail brands, 5 online business units and add-hoc customers.
- **Creation and maintenance** of the mastercalendar (GANT) for each release assessing **resources allocation, workload and timelines.**:

- Identify **risks, bottlenecks** and build **mitigation plan** proposals.
- **Continuous cross functional stakeholder alignment** (evolving business needs)
- **Releases monitoring**: control & report the progress of product development activities and deadlines respect to ensure products Go-Live dates.
- **Team animation**: communicate & activate the Product Development & Brand Content teams on key deliverables, **timelines, resources** & accountabilities.

**2.** **PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORTING THE INTEGRATION JOURNEY**:

- Is the **referent project manager officer** (PMO) for on-going integration activities related to Product
- Act as a **translator and facilitator** across organizations and is the key point of contact of EssilorLuxottica corporate functions
- Have an **E2E vision** of the product development process in EL systems and overseas **optimizations** and **bottlenecks**.
- Support the management functions in the **conduct of change** and promote it inside the product team with training, show & tell, brainstorming.
- Ensure **smooth information flow** and **full stakeholders’ alignment** with weekly meetings, minutes, formalized presentations.

**3. PROCESS MAPPING, MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT**
- Responsible for the Product Development **Process, tools and calendars**.
- Act as a **pivot** in understanding the EssilorLuxottica processes and digest it in an operational way for the mainstream product team.
- Build dedicated **processes and harmonized methodologies** according to the mainstream specificities in compliance with the group’s standards
- Involve and **align all stakeholders** concerned
- Show continuous improvement mindset : frequently lead REX meetings, gathering feedback for **processes and tools improvements.**:

- On-board newcomers on Product Development processes and tools with up-to-date training documents.

**EDUCATION AND FORMAL REQUIREMENTS (certificates)**:

- Master’s degree from an accredited college/university (Scientific studies background are a plus);
- A certification in project management will be a plus (ACP, PMP, PRINCE2 );

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 years experience
- Product Development knowledge environment / Go-to-Market experience will be a plus.
- Project management knowledge

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- ** English** (oral, written), Italian and/or** **French will be a plus;
- ** Microsoft Office** (Excel, PowerPoint) & Outlook;
- MS Project or other **project management software**;
- ** PLM **Enovia will be a plus
- ** EssilorLuxottica **processes & stakeholders knowledge.
