In this position, you will be a technical lead for instrumentation engineering activities in assigned projects. You will ensure that the activities related to instrumentation engineering within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements and in collaboration with the project managers and technical leads from the process control & digitalization department. You will be a part of the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering Department.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Ensuring that engineering is developed with complete information - all technical information has been included in the engineering development.
- Acting as a design authority for instrumentation engineering deliverables.
- Interacting with customer project representatives, contractors, suppliers, and others.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating instrumentation engineers (both in-house and outsourced) on assigned projects.
- Reviewing and developing standard processes, tools, and techniques.
- Anticipating and solving crucial issues engineering and/or unique conditions related to instrumentation in assigned projects.
- Reviewing all project documents relevant to instrumentation engineering for conformity, safety, and quality assurance.
- Collaborating with Planning & Control and the Project Manager to define the project tasks, schedule and allocate these tasks among project team members.
**Your background**:
- At least a Master degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Technical lead in E&I engineering.
- Experience in complex project planning and in managing multidisciplinary projects.
- Fluent English and French is a must.
- Ability to use Excel, Word, SharePoint SAP and AutoCad/E-Plan.
- Electrical certification acquired in France (Electrique BR).
- No obstacles for travelling (1-2 week.s per year).
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
