ITER brings together 35 countries in the construction of the largest Tokamak ever built This machine aims to demonstrate that "nuclear fusion" (replicating the unlimited source of energy that powers the sun and the stars) can be used as a large-scale, non-C02 emitting energy source to produce electricity. The ITER project this is: - An experimental installation - The largest thermonuclear fusion facility in the world - A huge construction site based in the South of France (St Paul-Lez-Durance) - Up to 5,000 people employed at the height of construction activity - A multicultural and international environment - A logístical challenge and extraordinary engineering **Role** We are looking for a Contract Administrator M/F based in Saint-Paul-lès - Durance close to Aix-en-Provence. You will take direction from the Principal Contracts Manager and should act in autonomy in the administration of the Contract you are in charge of. **Key duties & Responsibilities** - Take direction and instruction from the Principal Contracts Manager and should mainly act in autonomy in the administration of the Contract he is in charge of. - Decide and act according to his FIDIC Engineer sub-delegation - Responsible for ensuring that the contract is administered in line with the contract agreement - Responsible for ensuring that the field teams are informed of the contractual arrangements with suppliers - Act as a first point of contact with field teams and contractors regarding day-to-day issues relating to the contract - Administrate the Contracts he is in charge of by preparing contractual answers and instructions, in due time, records minutes of contract meetings and coordinates review papers - Involve in the preparation of tender documentation and in the selection of works contractors - Provide inputs for the monthly report & KPI’s - Prepare Tender assessment Report - Follow up the compliance with contract requirements - Support the Resident Engineer in the administration of works contracts and provide recommendation for decision in consistency with Contract Conditions - Second the Principal Contract Manager when required **About you**: You hold a Master’s degree in Commercial, Business, Law or graduated from an Engineer school and have 7-15 years’ experience in Contract. You have experience in working on major construction projects and ability to adapt to complex international project with multiple stakeholders You are disciplined and self-motivated with superior organisational skills. You are stimulated by being immersed in a multicultural business environment. Fluency in English is required. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: 40,000.00€ - 60,000.00€ per year Work Location: One location
