**Job Role: Slot Game Designer**

**Job Location: This is a remote, work from home opportunity.**

**Nature of work**:
Game Design, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and refining slot game mechanics, features, and player experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of slot game design, player psychology, and market trends, as well as the ability to lead and mentor other designers within the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1) Game Design & Concept Development**:
i) Design and develop engaging slot game concepts, themes, mechanics, and features.

ii) Define game rules, paytable structures, bonus features, and RTP models in collaboration with mathematicians.

**2) Game Mechanics & Mathematical Models**:
i) Work closely with game mathematicians to define probability models, volatility, and payout structures.

ii) Ensure compliance with gaming regulations while maintaining a fun and fair player experience

**3) Team Leadership & Collaboration**:
i) Support the Head of Game Design in leading the game design team.

ii) Mentor and guide junior game designers, providing feedback and support on game projects.

iii) Act as a bridge between the game design, art, development, and product teams to ensure alignment on game vision.

**4) Player Experience & UX Optimization**:
i) Design gameplay mechanics that enhance player immersion and long-term retention.

ii) Work with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces.

iii) Analyze player data and feedback to optimize game features and mechanics.

**5) Game Development Lifecycle**:
i) Create and maintain game design documents, specifications, and prototypes.

ii) Oversee the development of game prototypes, ensuring that game concepts translate well into final products.

iii) Provide input throughout development, ensuring that final games align with the original vision.

**6) Market Research & Trend Analysis**:
i) Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor games, and emerging technologies in slot gaming.

ii) Use data-driven insights to refine and innovate game design strategies.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
a) 5+ years of experience in game design, with at least 2 years focused on casino slot games.

b) Proven track record of designing and launching successful slot games.

c) Experience mentoring or leading other game designers.

**Technical & Creative Skills**:
a) Strong understanding of slot game mechanics, RTP, volatility, and probability models.

b) Ability to create detailed game design documentation in MS Word and wireframes in Photoshop.
