The M-A-C **Assistant Retail Manager ** represents the image, products and culture of the company to the Customer. The **Assistant Retail Manager** role is to enable the customer to look and feel their best by providing an informative and engaging experience every time. Their primary responsibility is customer service and sales achieved through exceptional communication skills and artistic abilities. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to self-development, maintaining the store environment, operations and assisting with administrative and online duties
- Position Summary**:Assistant Retail Manager** will work in conjunction with the Retail Manager to maintain the effective operation of the location.
- They will also motivate the team to achieve sales and productivity goals. **Responsibilities**:

- 1. **Customer service**:

- Display excellent customer service skills to the team. - Quickly and effectively resolve customer issues. - Observe the team and give timely and constructive feedback
- 3**. Managerial Support**:

- Track retail sales against goals using the system provided. - Assist as directed by the Retail Manager. - Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory cycle count if requested. - Follow and implement all corporate visual presentation standards and guidelines. - Assist in the flow of merchandise from stock areas to the selling floor in a timely and organised manner. - Display good time management and effectively prioritise. - Ensure the smooth running of the counter when the Retail Manager is not present. - Delegate effectively.
- 4. **Enforcement of Company Policies & Maintenance of Standards**: - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. - Provide direction and give feedback to store management regarding staff performance.
- 5. **Inventory Maintenance**: - Ensure all stock holding areas are tidy, levels are appropriate and stock is properly rotated. - Perform other duties as required.
- 6. **Adhering to the company policies and continually setting an example in customer service, dress code and the professional standards expected by M-A-C**
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail experience with accurate and quick transaction handling ability
- Previous retail, customer service, hospitality services, or Luxury brand boutique experience preferred
- Familiar with using the POS Terminal
- Able to work flexible hours as required by the business
- **Qualifications**:

- **Language Skills**: Fluency in English and French is mandatory.

**Work Schedule**
- **Hours**: 35 hours per week-8hrs 1 hour lunch break/ 2 days off per week
- **Shifts**: Rotational shifts to cover airport operating hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
