We are currently hiring our future **Product Owner for our Payment apps.** The goal : Uplifting and centralizing of systems to a new technology platform Reporting to our Product Manager, and as the Product Owner of a new "to be built" Intellectual Property payment software, your main tasks will be: - Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements - Develop a deep understanding of user needs, their challenges, and unmet needs - Understanding individual requirements and defining concrete prerequisite - Evaluating through KPIs (Key Performance Indicators, benefits vs efforts) - Aligning tool specifications with different entities’ requirements - Developing user stories - Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them following Development Committee’s decisions - Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development - Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process - Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates - Participating in Scrum meetings **The perfect match...** - Work experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst or in a similar role - Ideally, you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in: Computer science, Computer engineering, Finance, Economics, analytics, or other related fields - Process productivity minded - In-depth knowledge of Agile software development methodology and Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, to develop products iteratively - Working knowledge of product development architecture and understanding of design quality and user experience standards - Proficiency in the use of analytic tools and a good knowledge of software development and other relevant web technologies - Prioritize effectively using data driven rationales and a discipline focusing on high impact activities - Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English - You can stick to timelines and measure progress during development - You have the ability to work with small and large development teams - Experience developing or supporting software for payment processes - Work experience in FinTech, Banking or related field - Relevant courses including Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) the Certified SAFe Product Owner and similar ones - Expertise in understanding payment, inter-company billing processes or similar processes **What we offer...** - Future-oriented and crisis-proof service company with flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths - Flexible working hours & hybrid work model (with up to 90% remote) - Pleasant working atmosphere in a dynamic and international environment - Interesting, diverse and exciting tasks - Independent and self-reliant work - Regular company events (breakfast, Christmas party, summer festival, barbecue events, etc.) - Dog-friendly office - Excellent S-Bahn connection & parking space **Join Questel, a growing international group, and live a great human adventure** **Job location** : Starnberg, Germany -> 6 times a year - Driven by values of entrepreneurship, respect, and integrity, Questel is committed to growth and social responsibility.
