**STUDIOCANAL**, a 100% subsidiary of Vivendi's CANAL+ Group, is the European leader in the production, distribution and international sales of feature films and TV series, operating in the five major European markets - France, UK, Germany, Benelux and Spain - as well as in Australia and New Zealand. STUDIOCANAL finances and produces around 30 films a year, distributes around 50 films a year, and has one of the world's largest film libraries, with almost 7,000 titles from 60 countries, covering 100 years of cinema history. Over the past 5 years, STUDIOCANAL has invested 20 million euros in the restoration of 700 classic films. STUDIOCANAL also produces over 200 hours of TV series each year at international level. All productions are carried out either via STUDIOCANAL entities or via its network of award-winning European production companies (STUDIOCANAL Series, LAILAPS FILMS, RED PRODUCTION COMPANY, URBAN MYTH FILMS, BAMBÚ PRODUCCIONES, STUDIOCANAL ORIGINAL, 2e BUREAU, SUNNYMARCH TV, SAM PRODUCTIONS, DUTCH FILMWORKS).

Based in London, you’ll support the UK & Global Acquisition, Production and Development teams on the smooth day-to-day running of the department.

Mains duties:
**Core**
- Day-to-day diary management for both teams and coordination of meetings
- Manage and book all travel arrangements, meetings and registration for teams to festivals and markets etc.
- Submit all expenses for both teams, raise purchase order numbers for various invoices
- Updating database systems on acquisition/production projects
- Attend weekly department meetings and give feedback on various research requests
- Manage agendas for weekly departmental meetings and calls
- Read scripts and book/attend screenings to provide coverage and feedback
- Adhoc research - provide book sales data, box office/DVD sales, national trends etc. to aid research into potential projects
- Liaise with acquisitions and production teams in other SC territories when needed
- Prepare various PowerPoint presentations when needed
- Coordinate script/book submissions to readers and distribute reports to the team
- Contribute towards one of the D&I Groups within the company to ensure inclusion across the business and contribute to the company’s ethos and values.

**Acquisitions**
- Research upcoming key film festival programmes - gather information on territory availabilities and flag titles of note internally
- Assist the team in preparing proposals for greenlight
- Develop relationships with international sales agents and a familiarity with their slates

- Passion for Film and TV and ambition for career in the industry
- Film school degree (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication
- Attention to detail
- Analytic, creative thinking and negotiation skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Good Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint user
