Tutor / Nanny

Here is an exciting opportunity for a tutrice / nanny to join a young French family, with two children (aged 4 and 6). This role will involve a lot of travel, so will suit someone who is flexible, and committed.

Initially based in Paris, the position will require you to relocate to Dubai, where the family is primarily based. As well as this there are many trips and holidays and there is the potential for a 4 - 6 month travel adventure around the Australasia region, so this is a mission more than just a job

Duties, including but not limited to:
1. Supervising children: ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.

2. Educational activities: planning age-appropriate games, reading, sensory, creative, or motor development activities; assisting with homework.

3. When travelling, dictate the school curriculum and teach accordingly.

4. Daily care: dressing and general hygiene; liaise with the chef for meal times, ensure the children consume all of their foods and snacks.

5. Emotional support: offering guidance, setting boundaries, encouraging social and emotional development.

6. Routines and scheduling: organizing nap times, outings, school runs or appointments.

7. Transport duties: accompany children to/from school, playdates, lessons, doctor appointments.

It is a busy, fully staffed household (including another nanny) so we require this person to work well as part of a team, where collaboration is encouraged and a can-do attitude is important.

Desired skills:
Recognised qualification from a junior-level teaching course

Fluent French and English

Driving license is an advantage

Attributes:
Be very organised and highly motivated

Be a great communicator, upbeat and friendly

Discretion and confidentiality required

Trustworthy and loyal - excellent references and police check required

Package:
**Salary**: €60-70k pa (tax free in the UAE)

Relocation to Dubai, with accommodation assistance and allowance

Accommodation expenses when travelling

Health Insurance

Annual leave allowance of 24days (when the family is not travelling)

Pay: 4,000.00€ - 5,500.00€ per month
