Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.
**What you'll do**:
Doctolib is seeking an **Engineering Manager** to join our Patient Services domain and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients.
You will be both a technical leader and a people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib. In this role, you will:
- Lead the engineering team responsible for enhancing our Patient to Doctor messaging experience, with more than **14 million conversations**expected to be started by patients this year.
- More specifically, you'll join a team working on developing patient services to help patients and practitioners to leverage technologies to improve the quality of communications and continuity of care, working on features like teleconsultation, messaging, and notifications to patients.
- Empower your team to build better products, playing a pivotal role in the improvement of **one of France's most downloaded apps**:
- Ensure business objectives are met as a team, by driving growth and performance of each team member;
- Set the roadmap for your team, and be the end-to-end owner of the team's delivery and quality.
- Participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required;
- Lead cross functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team;
- Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.

- Have 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team;
- We use **Typescript** (React and React Native), **Ruby on Rails** and **Java** (and we are happy to help you ramp up);
- You understand the value of testing your code;
- Have the ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues;
- Have proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure B2C products;
- Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team
