**The**Manager, Software Engineering**Role**

We’re looking for a **Manager, Software Engineering** to lead a talented, cross-functional team within Qlik’s **Data Governance & AI** group. Based in **Paris or Nantes (hybrid)**, this role is all about empowering innovation at scale. You’ll help shape the future of Qlik’s cloud-based data governance platform—driving the development of high-performing, AI-enabled solutions that support data quality, trust, and compliance.

**Here’s how you’ll be making an impact**:
Your leadership will directly shape how Qlik builds software—enabling teams to move fast, deliver quality, and drive innovation responsibly.
- Support and develop your team through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career growth planning
- Define and measure success across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with other engineering managers (you’ll be one of 8 in the leadership team) to steer team culture and technical direction
- Deliver scalable systems that reinforce data governance, AI enablement, and customer trust

**We’re looking for a teammate with**:

- ** 5+ years** in software or data engineering within SaaS, including **3+ years** in a leadership role
- Proven experience with **cloud data platforms** (AWS, Azure) and **modern data ecosystems**:

- Strong understanding of **data governance**, **metadata**, and **data quality frameworks**:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English
- Familiarity with **AI/LLM concepts** is a bonus—but curiosity and a growth mindset matter more

**The location for this role is**:
France - Hybrid working from our Suresnes Paris office or Nantes
