**About the role**
Volnay#01 is a US-based biotechnology company operating in Paris and developing pioneering gene delivery technologies to provide innovative therapies for patients. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented formulation scientist to join our non-clinical department. The position is located in Paris.
**What you'll do**
- Design, implementation, and coordination of galenic development and experimental schedules with the different experts of the company
- Implementation of the analytical tools necessary for the realization of the galenic development plans
- In addition to the operational aspect with the realization of experiments dedicated to the optimization of the formulation, this position also includes stability studies and an activity of continuous improvement of the analytical methods allowing to characterize the product.
- Management of partners and sub-contractors with whom the company has chosen to work
- Writing, review and validation of technical documentation (SOP, WI, REC...), study plans and internal reports
- Operational management of the laboratory: management of purchases, maintenance of equipment, compliance with regulations and health and safety rules in place in the company
- Participation in the dissemination of the company's scientific results (patents, scientific articles, communications at international conferences)
**What we're looking for**
- PhD in Chemistry or PharmD with a 3+ year experience in pharmaceutical or galenic development
- Experience in working under quality assurance
- Knowledge of GLP
- An advanced level of English is required for this role, due to the international stakes of the company's development
- Mastery of IT tools
