Global Category Manager Logistics Outbound

Purpose and objective of the position
- Contributes to category sourcing strategy and supports category roadmap development and implementation
- Develops programs to maximize value creation along 3 main lenses, including margin improvements, best security of supply and quality practices, Sustainable sourcing
- Creates efficient internal processes and maintains structured communication matrix with affiliates and central functions
- The position reports directly to the Global Category Director Logistics & Capex. The position scope : Outbound logistics (3PL contract management, Road transportation, Intermodal)

Your key missions

You will support the development of the Global Pernod Ricard logistics category strategy
- Develops and executes category strategy, in closely collaboration with Category Director
- Contributes to the definition of roadmap to deliver objectives along 3 sources of value
- Manages 1-on-1 negotiations and commercial events/tenders on regional and global scale
- Is responsible for execution of sourcing strategy, for building category S&R roadmap to support Group Sustainability agenda while priority #1 is road transport decarbonation
- Is accountable for delivery of pipeline of initiatives with margin improvement projects

You will play a key role in supplier identification, development and relationship management
- Understands category market dynamics and secures good supplier intelligence
- Is strongly engaged in potential supplier identification (both global & regional players), sourcing base development, and business allocation decisions
- Is part of strategic interface towards suppliers - builds strong and strategic relationships with suppliers

You will onboard stakeholders at all levels & facilitates transversal ways of working with affiliates and corporate functions
- Develops effective implementation plans for global activities, follows closely with affiliates on identified local initiatives
- Provides escalation support to find solutions for ongoing requests
- Identifies and meets local requirement across affiliates

You will actively participates to the Pernod Ricard Procurement transformation
- Leads development and implementation of best practice procurement tools and processes

You will identify new opportunities to reach category objectives and anticipates risks which might hinder realization of agreed targets

- You have experience in procurement with successful, multi-year track record in a procurement organization
- You have experience from FMCG procurement or supply chain organization at regional or global level
- You are highly experienced in logistics category management
- You have strong knowledge of sourcing processes and methodologies
- You have advanced negotiation skills, developed problem-solving and analytical skills
- You have excellent communication skills: verbal and presenting, proficient in English
- You have practical experience and capabilities in digital & e-sourcing tools
- You have In-depth knowledge on 3PL contract and transport development
