Drive the category strategy within France and capture real savings as well as participate in the strategic sourcing activities for various categories of spend, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions while maintaining and/or improving product quality and vendor service levels.
**Responsibilities**:
1) Sourcing: Lead the sourcing activities for various categories of spend, with the goal of achieving significant initial cost reductions, while maintaining/improving product quality and vendor service levels.- Work closely with key stakeholders in member organizations and in corporate functions to implement effective cost reduction strategies.- Perform tenders, negotiate and ensure contracting with third-party suppliers in line with business requirements as well as with Sibelco key values.- Manage supplier relationship in the most efficient way and in line with the category strategy.
2) Supply Chain: Implement the Supply Chain strategy.- Build an action plan based on cost reduction (improve efficiency) and better service (customer satisfaction and better performance) and drive visible and sustainable results to the cluster(s) and France P&L.- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehousing, transportation and customer service levels.- Engage, when required, in cross-country and international (x)functional projects (Tenders, M&A / CAPEX projects with complex logistics aspects, ISO (re)certifications, internal audits, periodical MICS self-evaluation, etc.)
3) Vendor Management: Deploy best practices in vendor selection/negotiation/contracting.- Monitor the performance of vendors and the compliance with the targets and guidelines.- Organize performance reviews with suppliers.- Develop and maintain a direct and professional relationship with suppliers and/or vendors.- Resolve any arising problem or complaint.
4) Continuous Improvement: Follow up market trends, competition strategy and innovations ensuring the best value for Sibelco.- Ensure the most efficient solutions for optimization.- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
5) Support: Provide support in the execution of acquisition strategies.- Complete due diligence and integrating spend activities.
6) Quality & Standards:
- Ensure MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) is implemented in France/cluster(s) in scope and the SC&P procedure is followed.
About you:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain or Procurement- At least 3 years prior experience in supply chain/ procurement/category or at least 3 years prior experience in transformation roles- Experience in change management- English and French - proficient verbal & writing
